About Tuned Into Speech Therapy

Hello from Sharon

Hi!  My name is Sharon.  I've been a speech pathologist for around 20 years, working in a variety of roles, mostly in the area of disability.  I am passionate about supporting babies, toddlers and young children to strengthen their connections with others through mutual understanding and effective communication strategies.  I have a special interest in working with families of children who are non-speaking or emergent language users.

When I'm not working I love spending time with my partner and son, camping (when we can find the time), bush walking and travelling.  I also enjoy ice skating, movies, reading and knitting.
